Grilled Steak Sandwich

500g good quality lean steak

1 Tbsp Olive Oil

Capsicum (peppers)


Red Onion

Baby Spinach or salad greens

4 Ciabatta Rolls or loaf of Foccacia bread

Low fat mayo or aioli


Chop vegetables into strips about 1cm thick and toss in olive oil. Grill steak in a hot oven, or cook on a gridle pan until cooked to your liking. About 10 minutes from the end add the vegetables in a single layer to the pan. Once cooked leave meat to rest in a warm place for 10 minutes. Open ciabatta rolls and toast until lightly browned. Slice steak into strips and place on rolls, top with grilled vegetables and  baby spinach or salad greens. Drizzle with a little low fat mayo or aioli.
